Against forgetting
Donations for the "Hamas Hostages Square"
26 September 2024
October 7th marks the anniversary of the terrible Hamas massacre, which left many dead, injured and abducted. The Hamas terror attack has had many terrible consequences for the people in the region. Not since the Holocaust have so many Jews been killed in one day as in the Hamas terror attacks.
And to this day, the terrorist organization has 101 hostages in its captivity: 101 women, men and children whose fate, suffering and torment are not receiving the attention they deserve, neither in current reporting nor in the general public. The demand is clear: the hostages must be released immediately and without conditions. #BringThemHomeNow!
Reports give only a hint of the horrific conditions under which the hostages are being held in narrow underground tunnels, how they are being deprived of their most basic human needs and abused as human shields for Hamas terrorists. All of this has been going on for almost a year - all the more reason why their fate deserves all the attention and the demand for their unconditional release is a political priority.
The "Hamas Hostages Square" at Bebelplatz in Berlin should therefore return and bring the fate of the hostages back into people’s consciousness, giving their suffering - as well as that of their families and friends - a public place again.
