The European elections in June 2024 are highly significant. They will decisively determine the future of the European Union. In this publication, the VDA presents recommendations from the German automotive industry for the 10th legislative period of the European Parliament. These include strengthening the EU's economic and industrial base in global competition, promoting free and fair trade, creating conditions for the implementation of the green transformation, overcoming the digitalization backlog in the internal market, and ensuring the transformation with financing, future technologies, and talents. The VDA is clearly committed to the European Union.
