IAA MOBILITY and IAA TRANSPORTATION
The VDA holds the annual IAA: IAA is dedicated to IAA MOBILITY in odd-numbered years and to IAA TRANSPORTATION in even-numbered years. The department coordinates and organizes the IAA. It acquires the exhibits, distributes stands and attains building permits for stand construction. General questions on the IAA MOBILITY are answered in the VDA Working Group 'IAA' and those on the IAA TRANSPORTATION in the VDA Working Group 'IAA TRANSPORTATION'.
International trade fair topics are discussed in both committees. The OICA Exhibition Committee discusses the OICA calendar. The position of the German automotive industry is discussed in both VDA committees.
