2024 General Meeting elects new Managing Board:
At this year's VDA general meeting, Julia Esterer (Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Esterer GmbH & Co. Fahrzeugaufbauten und Anlagen KG), Karin Rådström (Daimler Truck AG) and Alexander Vlaskamp (MAN Truck & Bus SE) were newly elected to the VDA Managing Board.
Martin Daum (Daimler Truck AG), Gunnar Kilian (TRATON SE) and Jürgen Spier (Spier GmbH & Co. Fahrzeugwerk KG) have left the VDA Board of Directors.
The other members of the VDA Managing Board were confirmed in their positions by the General Meeting.
Thus the VDA Managing Board is composed as follows:
Hildegard Müller (VDA), Dr. Oliver Blume (Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG), Dr. Daniel Böhmer (Franz Xaver Meiller Fahrzeug- und Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG), Gernot Döllner (Audi AG), Julia Esterer (Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Esterer GmbH & Co. Fahrzeugaufbauten und Anlagen KG), Dr. Stefan Hartung (Robert Bosch GmbH), Ola Källenius (Mercedes-Benz Group AG), Florian Huettl (Opel Automobile GmbH), Arndt G. Kirchhoff (Kirchhoff Automotive GmbH & Co. KG), Isabelle Kirschbaum-Rupf (Rupf Industries GmbH), Dr. Holger Klein (ZF Friedrichshafen AG), Andreas Kostal (Leopold Kostal GmbH & Co. KG), Natalie Mekelburger (Coroplast Fritz Müller GmbH & Co. KG), Karin Rådström (Daimler Truck AG), Thomas Schäfer (Volkswagen AG), Nikolai Setzer (Continental AG), Gero Schulze Isfort (Bernard Krone Beteiligungs GmbH), Alexander Vlaskamp (MAN Truck & Bus SE), and Oliver Zipse (Bayerische Motoren Werke AG).
The VDA Presiding Board is composed as follows:
Hildegard Müller, President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), was confirmed in her position, as were Vice Presidents Dr. Daniel Böhmer, Chairman of the Management Board of F. X. Meiller Fahrzeug- und Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, and Arndt G. Kirchhoff, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kirchhoff Automotive AG/Kirchhoff Automotive GmbH & Co. KG. Prof. Oliver Zipse, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG, joins the VDA Presiding Board as Vice President.
VDA President Müller thanked the leaving board members on behalf of the boards and members of the VDA for their work on the VDA Managing Board and the great commitment which they have shown to support the interests of the German automotive industry.
