Production, logistics and aftermarket

The VDA Production, Logistics and Aftermarket department bundles and represents the interests of the automotive industry in matters related to the production environment and the supply chain. One of the main objectives is the standardization of processes in the pre-competitive area. In doing so, the department equally represents manufacturers and suppliers on a national and international level.

Each of the three disciplines is represented by a committee consisting of industry representatives from top management in the VDA. The committees determine the strategic guidelines of the committee work and provide resources for the working groups and projects. The Production, Logistics and Aftermarket department handles the committees and ensures interdisciplinary, national and international networking.
